Woman jumps in louisiana canal to save her dog
Being a born and raised Florida girl myself, I know a few things about the south. Drainage canals are disgusting. They are filled with unsanitary water and they often sit stagnant for weeks, and sometimes even fill so high they look like actual bodies of water when the weather is bad for days on end. They&rsquo-re also so often filled with things you don&rsquo-t want to do business with, such as bugs and snakes and sometimes even wayward alligators looking for their next meal or place to live. It happens, whether people are aware of it or not. Since Louisiana is just as southern, has plenty of snakes and bugs and gators of its own, I can share with you one thing for certain- my body will never find its way into a drainage canal.
However, you will see in the video below that a woman actually jumped into one on her own accord to save her dog. Her dog had gotten into the canal and despite several rescue attempts, was not rescued. This woman clearly loves her dog beyond measure, because she actually threw herself into the disgusting, dangerous canal water to save her dog. She clearly did not care what might be in the canal with her, what might happen to her or the outcome of any story whatsoever. She just wanted her dog saved and her family put back together. It is amazing what she did, and I&rsquo-m sure any of us would do the same for our kids or animals.
