Woman uses bat pug to propose to her boyfriend

The world has changed so much since I was growing up. To be fair, I&rsquo-m only 32- but still. Back when my husband proposed to me at the very young age of 19, things were different. Social media was not around, and photos did not call people so that you could see their faces while you spoke to them, and things were just different. My husband and I were on vacation when he proposed, asking a couple in front of a beautiful water view after dinner to snap a quick photo of us with our disposable camera in front of the water. When they obliged, he dropped to one knee and proposed- and we have a photo of that very instant. It was rare to ever hear of a woman proposing to a man, and it was even rarer to see a video of them FaceTiming one another with a Pug dressed like Batman when she did it.

But, that&rsquo-s how the world has changed and we kind of love it. Call me a traditionalist, but I love all things traditional. However, I also love those who don&rsquo-t care what is considered normal or whatever- I love people who are willing to throw the rules out the window and do what makes them happy and that&rsquo-s what Laura did with Tom. She proposed to him using a pug dressed as Batman, a phone and some note cards. It&rsquo-s amazing, and the video is completely spectacular and worth watching if you have a few minutes. And congratulations to the happy couple!
