90-Year-old woman declines chemo in favor of road trip with poodle

Miss Norma has led a pretty good life thus far. She&rsquo-s been married to the love of her life, she&rsquo-s had children, she&rsquo-s had grandchildren and she&rsquo-s had a dog. She&rsquo-s got a Poodle by the name of Ringo, and they hit it off quite quickly. The dog actually belongs to her son and his wife, but they have grown so close lately that the dog might as well belong to her since he seems to be her best friend at the moment. Miss Norma&rsquo-s husband passed away recently, and just days later her doctor told her that he had some bad news for her. She suffers from uterine cancer. He offered to provide her with chemotherapy, but she does not want to live out the remainder of her days like that.

Instead, she opted to get into her son and daughter-in-law&rsquo-s RV and go with them on a cross country road trip that would allow her to see the entire country and have a blast at the same time. Now she is living her dream and she&rsquo-s got her new best friend alongside her. So far her road trip has been quite the success with a tour of the south. She&rsquo-s been to St. Augustine, Sanibel Island, Savannah, Beaufort and back west to see the Grand Canyon and Colorado. She&rsquo-s loving every second of her trip, and the dog will not leave her side as they travel together. It&rsquo-s really not a bad way to live out the rest of her already very long and accomplished life.
