Pit bull proves that fighting dogs can be rehabilitated

Gremmie is a four-year-old pit bull that was rescued from a dog fighting ring in North Carolina. This dog was born to fight. He was abused for many years in this ring, and he was not in good shape. This dog was not raised to be a kind dog, or a loving dog. But deep down on the inside, he was just that. When he was rescued, he was in very bad shape. Many people believe that dogs that are trained to fight and trained to be aggressive are not dogs that can be rehabilitated and helped. Fortunately, he was able to be saved. His aggressive, scared and terrified nature was quickly turned around and was changed. This dog is now a loving, kind and very sweet dog.

When his new owner saw him, she just had to have him. She states that it&rsquo-s her feeling that she could give this dog a forever home, a loving home where he could live a life that was happy. It&rsquo-s made all the difference in the world, and his owner cannot even recognize her dog when she sees old photos of him taken from the dog fighting ring from which he came. That&rsquo-s how powerful and amazing his transformation has been.
