Four-year-old writes heartbreaking letter to thieves who stole his dog
A four-year-old boy wrote a heartbreaking letter to the person who stole his dog. Back in 2013 when Ethan Ferrier was just two years old someone stole their family dog from their farm in the UK. Even though he was very young when their dog disappeared, the little boy didn&rsquo-t forget about their beloved pooch Fern.
Fern, a Cocker-Spring Spaniel, was only one-year-old when she was stolen in April 2013 from the Ferrier&rsquo-s Malden Rushett, Surrey farm. The pup also looks very similar to Lupo. Since the pup&rsquo-s disappearance the devastated little fella have been asking his parents Jodie and Tom about the pooch every day, which is also disheartening to them.
Ethan is now in preschool and he just started to learn how to write. Recently, he made a public letter to the people who stole their pup. He is hoping that the thieves will read his letter and be touched with his plea and give Fern back to their family.
Ethan wrote: &ldquo-To the bad men who took Fern. Can Fern come home now please. I miss her.”
This short but direct to the point message of a four-year-old is sure very moving. Ethan also included a drawing of his family with their dog Fern. At a young age he managed to express his feelings in a good way.
&ldquo-When Ethan started to learn to write he decided he wanted to write a letter to the people who took Fern and this is what he came up with,&rdquo- said Jodie, Ethan&rsquo-s mom.
Jodie posted his message and his drawing on Facebook and Twitter. She believes that Fern was stolen for breeding purpose since there&rsquo-s currently a lot of demand for Cocker Spaniel puppies in the UK, because the Royal couple Will and Kate owns one named Lupo.
According to the authorities and dog charities, the popularity of Lupo has sparked the high demand for Cocker Spaniels. Currently in the UK, breeders can get up to $1,500 for one puppy because of Lupo, Will and Kate&rsquo-s dog.
The Ferrier family is still hoping that one day they will find their beloved dog Fern. Hopefully, Ethan&rsquo-s message will get to the thieves. It would be really nice if they will have the courage to return Fern to its original family soon.
