The “dog is good” retailer finally goes to the cats

Dog Is Good is well known for its doggie-themed products. But even a dog-oriented site can’t hold out forever against the power of cats.

The site, which sells T-shirts emblazoned with dog images and funny dog quotations, has launched a paw-ful of cat-themed items — if dog is good, then cat is purrfect.

Our favorite is the lavender Love shirt, which features the four-letter word with a cute cat face in place of the letter “O.” Floating above the kitty’s head is a halo of goodness. The lavender color is so pretty, and the shirt is a gentle, understated way to show your cat pride. The shirt is kids’ sizes — just right for your little human kitten.

A little more emblematic is the Cat Lover T-shirt, which proudly states a love of cats 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The shirt boldly proclaims an affection for felines, and it ain’t afraid to do so.

If your kitty love borders on something a little more clinical, there’s the Cat Codependent shirt … just in case you and your cat share an inseparable bond. (“Where I read, cat settles,” is among the phrases printed on the back.) If you’re the kind of person who is never seen without a kitty in your lap or following you around, then this is your shirt.
