Homeless dog gets rescued and learns how to play with toys for the first time
Growing up without a home means so many things for dogs. When Maya was found in a parking lot along a road many people felt she needed second chance. It was a hot summer day when she was discovered in a parking lot looking for food. She was hungry, thirsty and she was so sweet. The people who rescued this gorgeous dog did not expect to rescue a dog. They were actually out and about taking one of their other rescue dogs to her new family, and she was rescued. She was sweet and submissive, but she never knew how to play with toys. Being homeless for much of her life meant she was not exposed to toys.
That&rsquo-s what makes this video so sweet- that and the fact that Maya has a love of other animals, big and small. She takes very well to a puppy and to some of her other new friends her own size. She&rsquo-s never, ever in her life had a toy to play with. That means that she was thrilled the first time her rescuers gave her a toy, and watching her enjoy it is one of the most beautiful moments we can describe.
