Puppy with two broken legs abandoned and left to die is saved

The fact that we have to say that people are terrible almost every single day when we write about cats and dogs really does bother me on a level I cannot explain. Why am I incessantly sharing with you news stories of dogs and cats that have been abandoned, abused, neglected and hurt? Why are so many people awful? It&rsquo-s all too much so we are going to focus instead on the wonderful people who go out of their way to help the animals that are abused and hurt, and that&rsquo-s our story. This little darling is Chewie. He&rsquo-s a Yorkshire Terrier with the most adorable little face you&rsquo-ve ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Chewie had a bit of a rough time, but life is turning around for this little angel. He was all alone in an Orange County park when he was found and taken in by OC Animal Care in California. When the vet examined this doll, they realized both his front legs were broken – weeks before. This little dog had been suffering in silence for weeks with two broken legs and someone was all right with that. The belief is that the family who owned this dog knew he was hurt, but could not afford to give him the kind of care he needed, so they left him somewhere public so he might be quickly found. Thankfully, a nonprofit company took the time and care to raise money for him to have the necessary surgery to repair his legs and now he is the happiest dog in the world.
