Girl hypnotizes cat — and cat goes splat!

Cats love to play. They love to stalk, chase, and pounce anything that moves. It’s in their nature, as they’re some of the most efficient predators around. For a cat, anything can become a toy — a rolled up piece of paper, an errant piece of string, a feather tied to a stick. Entertaining a cat is cheap … and fun!

But sometimes even the most ferocious hunters can become overwhelmed. Just ask this kitty, who is hypnotized by her human spinning a toy round and round. Kitty is feeling sleepy … verrry sleepy … until boom! Kitty falls on the floor, utterly mesmerized by the spinning cat toy.

Maybe the girl is a lion tamer in practice — that’s a pretty big kitty!

We love how the cat hangs out on the floor for a minute as if to first overcome the shock of falling, and then to say, “Uh, I meant to do that!” We guess cats don’t always land on all fours. Sometimes they get a little too excited about a piece of ribbon and fall flat on their butts.

We’ll blame it on the hypnotizing toy, which put the cat into a deep, stiff trance, causing him to fall over. Dignity is overrated, anyway.
