Man rescues dog from a horrible life of cruelty: dog’s reaction speaks volumes

We believe that no dog deserves to be chained up outside a house. There are debates about this among many dog lovers and experts but it happens to be our opinion that chaining a dog will create more negatives than positives for the dog. A chained dog is a vulnerable dog. Vulnerable to poor treatment by others as well as by the elements outside. Speaking of which, the story of this dog comes to mind.

A man would walk by this dog on a daily basis and see him chained to a fence. The city was Phoenix and the temperature was 120 degrees on some days. The dog was chained in the backyard. For three years this man never saw the dog off the chain, nor did he ever see anyone playing with the dog. He decided it was time to do something.

The guy couldn&rsquo-t bear leaving the dog like this. So he made his move. The dog didn&rsquo-t seem friendly at first, but that didn&rsquo-t stop him. He took the time to be with the dog, talked to him, and then slowly, he tried to reach out.
