Texts from mittens: the earl edition

There’s been lots of activity in Mittens’ world, and the activity’s name is Earl. That’s right, Mom went out and adopted a puppy, although Mittens doesn’t think he’s puppy-ish in the size department. Earl is equal parts Lab and Great Dane, which means he’s gonna be a big fella. Already Mittens can’t move him, which means trouble because the giant puppy has fallen asleep on Mitty’s precious phone charger. What will happen if our favorite drama king’s phone runs out of juice? Perish the thought! Mittens will do anything to rescue his cord, even call on the ever-annoying Drunk Patty.

Aside from the Earl news, Mittens has the usual beefs, including Mom’s inability to bake cat treats and the possibility of contracting dysentery. Oh, and Mittens is disgusted with Pandora’s offerings in the music department. Seriously? No drippy-faucet songs? Ridiculous!
