The shiba inu husky mix one of many designer dog hybrids
Designer dogs are where it&rsquo-s at in the breeding world today. Every year more and more hybrid animals are produced from a wide range of different dog breeds. While none of these dogs will probably ever see an official seal of approval by any major kennel club, others have already begun to. There are several kennel clubs that now specialize in these hybrid designer crosses and have listed them in their breed listings. Often times, special names are given to these dogs and this is one of the reasons the animals have become so popular. One of these crosses is the Shiba Inu Husky Mix which has exploded in popularity over the last few years. So let&rsquo-s take a look at this particular cross and what makes it so attractive.
Why Do People Seem To Love the Shiba Inu Husky Mix?
If you have ever seen one of these animals before, you will know why they are so beloved. Their sheer beauty is simply unmatched by similar canines. Their black and white patterns help the animal stand out, and their symmetrical color patterns wrap neatly around their eyes and face making them very photogenic. Unlike their husky parent, these dogs will be small and compact making them the perfect size. Only reaching 15 to 25 pounds in weight and up to 16.5 inches in height, they are meant to be pleasure animals rather than working dogs. You wouldn&rsquo-t want to attach a sled to one of these pooches but they make great pets.
These Are Extremely Loving Animals
Many people who own of these cute little canines will tell you that they are some of the sweetest dogs around. In fact, many people purchase these dogs because they get along so well with children. Being a people oriented dog, they never meet a stranger and are often very loyal companions. If you are looking for a dog that is great with both children and other pets, you should definitely consider one of these. But there is some limitation that you should consider before bringing one of these puppies home. Due to their heavy coats and thick skin they don&rsquo-t do well in warmer climates. So if you live in an area of the country that sees more warm days than cold, this is not the dog for you. They will be very uncomfortable and often shed a lot of hair making both you and the animal miserable.
