Officer refuses to leave the side of an injured dog
Sometimes, officers and authorities are painted as some not-so-good guys, portrayed as people who are out for themselves and use their position for selfish reasons. While that may be the case for a small percentage of them, there is definitely proof that it isn&rsquo-t always the case! A traffic officer in Spain has shown that he is far from that and more in a viral video going around. In the video, the officer refuses to leave the side of an injured dog at the side of the road. *Warning: this video will bring dog lovers to tears!
In the video below, you can see an injured dog sprawled out on the sidewalk with the traffic officer by the canine&rsquo-s side, stroking the dog on the head to comfort it. Sarah McLachlan&rsquo-s somber and melancholy song &ldquo-Angel&rdquo- plays appropriately int he background, setting the tone for the video. The officer sits by the side of the dog while on his mobile phone with someone – possibly animal services. At one point, the officer kneels down to be even closer to the dog and is seen dialing someone else, calling on the phone. The dog looks helpless and downtrodden, but surprisingly very calm.
The scene then cuts to the officer carrying the dog who is wrapped under a white cloth into an ambulance. While inside the vehicle, it appears that the dog has an injury to its head, with what blood on its face. The officer then takes the dog out of the vehicle and personally carries it out over to a vet. The video goes on to show the dog being examined and then brought downstairs by the officer and the vet and placed on another table, with the dog appearing to have passed away.
