If you’ve ever wondered why you should get in shape, Shorty and Kodi are here to tell you exactly why: To serve them better.

Cats live with a singular goal in mind: Figuring out how to get humans to do all their work for them. They’ve been working on it since ancient Egyptian times, when they tricked humans into thinking that they are four-legged gods just because they magically made crop-devouring vermin disappear. (Hint: They hunted and killed them, and it was a lot of fun.) Once humans figured out how to use pesticides to keep crops intact, cats may have lost their divine status, but they still maintained their domination.

So Short and Kodi want to make sure you stay in tip-top shape — those bags of cat food won’t move themselves!
