Quick dog tip of the day: never use a metal dog bowl

eating_the_big_dogs_food_

Many dog owners, myself included, like to treat our canines as well as we would treat our own human family members. So often times that includes giving them the best environments possible and even spoiling them to an extent. Heck I like to take my dog to a fancy groomer when I have the chance.

I like to give my dog the best treats when I can. But also, in a selfish way, we like to show off our dogs and make sure they have &ldquo-the best of everything.&rdquo- So that might mean a fancy dog leash, or even a fancy cage, etc etc. However, we&rsquo-re here to tell you that not all fancy equipment is necessarily safe.

Today&rsquo-s tip revolves around dog bowls. You might be tempted to buy a metal bowl because it looks good, shiny, fancy but be careful. If you use a metal water dish in the outdoors in the summer or in winter you could be at risk with your dog. In the winter your pet&rsquo-s tongue could get stuck to the bowl and in the summer metal bowls can be very hot and potentially burn your dog. So be careful which kind of bowl you use to feed your dog. Usually a hard plastic will suffice.
